        <description>The Greens/EFA campaign against biometric mass surveillance is organizing a screening of Shalini Kantayya’s award-winning documentary “Coded Bias” followed by a panel debate on algorithmic biases and how they are being addressed in the Artificial Intelligence Regulation. The panel debate will start at 20:45 CET (Brussels time) and can be watched live online. The upcoming negotiations on the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AIA) will be a defining moment for the future of biometric surveillance technologies and its use by law enforcement and private actors in the European Union.
